Celebration was in the air this week when a regular customer booked in for his one hundredth overnight stay at The Nurse’s Cottage Restaurant with Rooms in Sway.
Since his first visit in January 2002, Chester businessman Stefano Bugni has become a regular at the five-bedroom property, where one hundred balloons were festooned across his room to mark the occasion. “As I spend several nights away from home on business each week,” he said, “it is important to me to be able to find an establishment which fulfils my tough criteria. I require professional facilities, high quality food and wine and at the same time a ‘home from home’ feel. Believe me, these requirements are very hard to find but The Nurse’s Cottage has always lived up to and exceeded my expectations.”
Chef/Proprietor Tony Barnfield also toasted his guest with Champagne at Dinner: “Stefano has almost become a permanent fixture here and we are very grateful for his custom. In these difficult financial times, it is good to know that customers like what we offer here – and Stefano’s century in the week of England’s Ashes win is truly reassuring and a boost for us all.”
